YOUTH – from bed to ground

With all due respect, before beginning my written attempt of motivating you to stand up and tell yourself to START, id like to ask you a question to which the answer of course you don’t have to email me but just keep it to yourself and realise if you really care. Question says: have you ever done anything to let your country be proud of giving you a chance to have a life, a life where you have a home, three time meal, Saturday party, a laptop with internet connection and an air conditioner with probably the most wonderful parents sitting with you?

It’s okay if its a no, at least its honest. Begin now for a yes the next time you read it. And If its a yes, reconsider, sharing society upliftment videos and posts related to education, child labour , poverty, materialism on Facebook or working for NGOs with zero dedication but certificates that the end brings- is not valid.

Everybody knows what is to be done and how. Many, many articles, short stories, ideas have been published. Books, social media, television, what not. Give all of it a damn and for your own sake, get off your bed and here’s to a better environment and moreover, a better society.

I believe its not just any one level’s carelessness that has become roots to the disbalanced environment of our country but somewhat we all have, more or less, contributed our ignorance for a country as large (in every sense) as India, stay undeveloped. More than sixty percent of the Indian educated teenagers lack interest in reading news related to politics and society but Bollywood rules. What use is educating new adults providing?
